Airwalk Footwear
Roni spearheaded, conceptualized,managed, and oversaw the execution of the Global Promotions department for Airwalk footwear. During her tenure she negotiated, developed,and managed over 200 events for this brand. She pioneered AIRWALK’s first fully owned music tour. Roni spearheaded the S. Park Revolution with industry veterans. Roni created the concept for new S. Park shoe, educational skate park video. This resulted in 5 new skate park and a global education platform for how to build a skatepark in communities.
Airwalk European Demo Tour
Purpose: Build and Share Airwalk Brands Athletes with Consumers & Retailers throughout Europe.
Strategy: Develop cross promotions & partnerships with main retailers in European communities with our touring athletes to immerse ourselves into different cultures and help retailers connect with consumers.
Outcome: Airwalk European Skate & BMX tour visited 5 countries resulting in increased sales, exposure, and brand ambassadors globally.
Airwalk S Park Revolution
Purpose: Help bring skateboarding and skateparks to communities thoughout America.
Strategy: Develop contest to help build skateparks in chosen communities. Create video for communities to learn how to work with city leaders & developers to build their own skateparks. Create a specialized S. Park Shoe that represented this amazing initiative. Change peoples thoughts and behaviors around Skateboarding, bringing parks to commuities at a time when skateboarding was not commonplace.
Outcome: Airwalk funded skateparks in 5 communities in USA and over 20 new skateparks were built from direct results of this brand platform.
